one year anniversary for my etsy shops!

it's been so fun. i have LOVED doing these shops for the past year, and look forward to doing them for a while in the future! thanks to all the wonderful buyers who have made this so fun and worthwhile for me. :)

some recent thrifty book finds

i love vintage kids books. the illustrations are so classic. i'm always on the hunt for books like these to make some cute pocket mirrors. and the books are ususally damaged (with scribbles or pages torn out) so i don't really feel too bad about cutting up a book...and i save everything, so for the pages i don't use, i was thinking it would make some cute scrapbooking accents, or to frame and hang on a wall. waste not, want not right?

i found a really great vintage "Bambi" book at a thrift store this weekend that was damaged in some areas, and was excited to make these super cute mirrors and I LOVE THEM!
