some recent thrifty book finds
i love vintage kids books. the illustrations are so classic. i'm always on the hunt for books like these to make some cute pocket mirrors. and the books are ususally damaged (with scribbles or pages torn out) so i don't really feel too bad about cutting up a book...and i save everything, so for the pages i don't use, i was thinking it would make some cute scrapbooking accents, or to frame and hang on a wall. waste not, want not right?
Have you seen purses made from hard bound books - they are cute.
