tutorial tuesday: origami box

i'm excited about this tutorial because i luuuv origami. i think it's one of the cutest things ever and amazing how you can make something beautiful with just a little bit of paper. these boxes are like a fun little puzzle. i love the one in the picture above with the patterned paper. wouldn't they be darling as wrapping for a small present? so cute.

i saw this on a once wed blog post and fell in love with the dense clustering of dozens of pretty paper flowers. such a clever and darling idea! and probably easier on the wallet than real flowers...

tutorial tuesday: ruffly felt wreath

i felt like it was time for another felt tutorial (since it's my FAVORITE medium) and i LOVE this wreath. i've seen dozens of items using this ruffly technique but a wreath is so darn cute. make it red and green for christmas...make it pink and red and white for valentines (in a *heart* shape!)...make it orange and black for halloween...obviously the options are limitless.

*new* spiral rosette bunch clips

these are similar to other clips i've done, but i love the texture of the felt spirals and i've never done these color combos before. i'm in love with the very first one i listed, that pale pink, gold and teal are right up my alley.

i posted these in the jellabee jr shop yesterday afternoon...and then put both shops on vacation until june 12th. i've been getting a hefty stack of jellabee jr orders and i wanted some time to finish them and then prepare for the opening of the salt lake farmer's market on june 12th. most everything is ready to go, i just need some time to get it all organized so that i'm not rushing around at the last minute. click on the image on the right if you want more details about the market. i'm so excited for it!! :)
