it is definitely a must-see.

it's the 60's in london. jenny is 16 and a good student at an all girls college prep school. david is at least 10 years older and lives the high life, but it's clear he has some secrets. it's not the happiest movie, but i still loved it. a bit disconcerting but definitely a coming-of-age movie you still think about after it's over. and i LOVED seeing the 60's london fashion, makeup & hair, so pretty. (it was nominated for Best Picture, too).

(*recognize these two together?...they were sisters - jane and kitty - in the newer "pride and prejudice.")
